BETH CALLEN
Beth Callen is a Grammy nominated
multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter.
She played guitar and banjo in the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical A STRANGE LOOP in New York City. A Strange Loop's original Broadway Cast Album was nominated for a 2023 Grammy Award.
Beth tours with indie pop artist SIDNEY BIRD playing guitar and singing background vocals. She has performed with alt-rock band The New Tarot, the all-female Guns N' Roses tribute Guns N' Hoses, and Grammy award winning children's artist Tim Kubart and others. She is currently writing and recording new songs with plans to release a solo record.
She got her start in music writing, performing and recording original music with her sister, Jessa. "I grew up writing songs and singing harmony with my sister. We would spend hours upon hours with our guitars writing songs and practicing and performing them. When I graduated high school, I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue art or music, so I went to Purchase College and studied New Media, which is essentially art and web design, but ultimately got my degree in songwriting. After college, my sister and I formed a band and we wrote and recorded two full-length albums and an EP. Our band THE CALLEN SISTERS, signed to Cordless Recordings" (Warner Music).
